PowerSeries mounts are designed to get the maximum performance available from your panels. Ground or pedestal mount is preferred because you can follow the suns rays daily and through the seasons. Even a "fixed pedestal" can out-perform a roof mounted array by as much as 15-20%. Add seasonal adjustment or sun tracking and summer production can be as much as 30-40% higher than same sized array mounted close to the roof and >50% higher in winter due to snow cover. If the only space available is the roof then mount the panels 4-6 inched off the roof with Channellox rail systems and you'll get more installation flexibility and higher annual yield than other roof rail systems that require more work and have fewer mounting options.

Install additional vertical rails first and achieve higher standoff allowing better air circulation, cooling and produce more kWhrs/day. Plus, panel layout configurations and installation of penetrators is far more flexible. Placement of penetrators does not require precision measurement. Plus newer high performance panels can replace today's technology at any time, without having to disturb or move the original penetrators.

Three different height and strengths of rail can be used to achieve a wide range of spans and loading requirements up to and exceeding 1000lbs/Sq Ft. Mounting system can be completely hidden under the array. Array size or complexity is only limited by roof size.

Use any size or make of panel, even mix different panels with separate inverters in alternate rows to achieve desired power, look or performance goals. Enphase inverters mount easily under panels directly on Channellox rail. Upgrading to high performance panels can be done by adding vertical rails later to adapt to new panel spacing.
